Hi Guys,
We are happy to do the labour, but need someone to advise plants, design, retic etc . Does anyone know the average cost, or can you recommend someone in Perth. We are located North.
Cheers

Anyone can bung in some plants but not every cowboy landscaper or poorly trained or skilled landscaper can create a lasting garden. Big money to be made from 3 year gardens. Disposable Mc rubbish gardens that look awful in just a few years and require landscaping again from scratch. Around $1000 plus for a good one with highly trained and experienced design. $300 for a mud map on a napkin in biro with a highly trained head behind it, plus extra for retic advice but no plan. $600 for a half decent plan to reasonable scale and with good, well skilled or well trained plant selection. $100-300 for a bad landscape plan and poor advice. There is a very strong push for folks to change the way we landscape so we can have sustainable gardens into the future and reduce the impacts they have on our micro climates and immediate environment. Very few Horts possess the skills to do this stuff and your "average landscaper in the local paper" is not likely to possess such skills or be in your states Landscape association.
