Easy to put together, just took about 7 hours. I have an extra sandpit on the front of it now as well and need to cover the sand. I keep hoping Santa will bring us one of the humungous ones (that cost a bomb). Although if we got one I'm not sure where we'd put it seems Santa is wiser than me Yours is much more sensible.... well done putting it together too buzz Re: We have a fort! *Pic Warning* 3Dec 04, 2009 11:44 am How fantastic!!! We are getting ours delievered today, we purchased off Ebay - a big cubby elevated with a slide and sandpit underneath....wish it had cost $500 - that is a great price! The kids look like they are having fun too!! My karma ran over your dogma Re: We have a fort! *Pic Warning* 4Dec 04, 2009 11:57 am yer the price was awesome, we were looking at spending closer to $2k from a few of the places around the traps and this is pretty much the same thing for a lot less the slide is quite big so the DD is still a bit scared of it, need to setup something at the base, trying to find some rubber mulch or something to throw on the ground, but its hard to track down too Blog - http://snakedr.blogspot.com/ Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12084&p=307406#p307406 Status - PCI 15/10. Re: We have a fort! *Pic Warning* 5Dec 04, 2009 12:17 pm Yep that is close to what we paid - $1850 including delivery - it is almost identical to yours only difference is the top part is an actual cubby (closed in with windows and a door and is about 2m x 2m inside) so really we have paid an extra $1300 for the cubby part instead of the fort Wish I had seen yours before I ordered, too late though it is getting delivered today We were thinking of getting that coloured playground spongy stuff around the base of ours but have had trouble locating it too, so might just do grass for the time being... My karma ran over your dogma Re: We have a fort! *Pic Warning* 6Dec 04, 2009 1:17 pm Looks great! Bubba doesn't seem too sure about it though. Re: We have a fort! *Pic Warning* 7Dec 04, 2009 1:24 pm haha, yer he's not sure whats going on, bit small for it you can buy those softfall matt's off ebay for around $35ea ive found some rubber mulch which would be good fun for them to fall into but they want $60 per pallet for delivery, not much good when i want 1x25kg bag which is only $40 for the rubber.....
