Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 20, 2009 5:11 pm Hi all, This may sound really simple, but we've been told to get around 15 cubic metres of soil for our back yard to either fill holes or to give the top layer a decent type of soil compared to the rubbish the developer brought in as fill. What is the main difference between sandy loam and blended soil types? Will we 'get away' with sandy loam soil instead of the blended stuff? Also, as far as cost goes, how much should we look for per cubic metre? Finally, does anyone know where we can get quality soil on the cheap?
