Hi
I have a small court yard with 3m x 6m area of lawn I would like to remove, is there an easy way to remove it? Is digging the easiest option?
Thanks

Re: Removing lawn in a court yard 5Oct 17, 2009 10:58 pm It's more than a case of just bunging on round up or similar glypho product. The lawn needs to be actively growing for any result to be had. Otherwise you think it's dead and comes back in your new pavers It has to warm or better still, hot. Then water it well and give it's last meal of a healthy dose of hi nitrogen fertiliser, granular weed and feed is excellent and cheaper than lawn fertiliser. Lots of sulphate of ammonia loaded with nitrogen for growth. Then a week later smash it with glypho (round up). Make sure when you mix up the roundup in the sprayer you put in a splash of seasol. This alone can be a difference in it working or not. (seasol is far better than using the traditional urea). Also add in two or even three drops of dishwashing liquid. This will make the mix stick to the grass leaf rather than run off as most can do. pop the drops of dishwashing liquid in after you have filled it also spray in the morning only, and not before rain or irrigation. wait three weeks before removing and don't water it after the application.
