Thanks and cheers, Hannah If the boards have already been painted, I'm not sure that you could have them correctly treated without stripping them back. So, if I was to hazard a guess, the cost and effort of treating them would be more than buying pre-treated edging or something enviro-friendly like recycled plastic edging.
