Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 03, 2009 4:46 pm Can anyone tell me if there are any places in Sydney who do Liquid Limestone pouring. I like the look of it for a pool surround but i can't find anywhere that does it over here. This is my first post and i just want to add that the information on here is brilliant. Cheers Hilly Re: Liquid Limestone - Sydney 2Sep 03, 2009 6:22 pm Welcome Hilly! Lumeah Limestone used to do it about 2 yrs ago but they were then purchased by Urban Stone. I asked Urban Stone about LL and they said they only do it for big jobs - 150m2 and more Even then it's expensive - more than $150/m2. I only need 30m2 and they wouldn't consider it. Really abundant and cheap in WA because the materials are so readily available. I'm going with reconstituted limestone pavers instead -not as seamless in look but still cool under the feet After 4 years - we're in! Re: Liquid Limestone - Sydney 3Sep 03, 2009 9:06 pm Thanks for that Stonecutter (wow you were quick ) i may have to look at the pavers as well as i only need around 45 m2 and even at $150/m2 it would have been prohibitive. Where are you getting the pavers from and what price? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks Hilly Re: Liquid Limestone - Sydney 4Sep 04, 2009 10:01 am Hey Hilly We've only looked at 2 places for pavers - Urban Stone have a great reconstituted limestone paver in large format (500x500 I think) for about $75/m2. Unreal Stone in Brookvale also have similar pavers - but I'm not sure of the price http://www.unrealstone.com.au/coolpavers I haven't tried Amber or other tile places yet (we're about 4 months off needing this done since they're only doing brickwork at the moment). I think the price to lay was about $50-75/m2 After 4 years - we're in! Hi, This is my first post.
