Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Aug 25, 2009 7:30 pm Hi There We have a problem area on the side of our house and are looking for some advice on what to put there. The area is about 15 mtrs long and 1 1/2 mtrs to 2 mtrs wide and gets no sun at all. This part will mainly be used by our dogs as part of their run. We are just unsure what to put there, my hubby wants to put rocks there but I tend to disagree because of the dogs being there with toileting etc Does anyone have any ideas of what we should put there? As we do not think grass will grow there. We will be grateful for any ideas. Thanks Nicole and Michael Re: Problem Area 3Sep 01, 2009 10:53 pm Grass will not grow there if it is totally uncompromising shade. All I can suggest is gravel. They might chew up any plants you put in. Paving would be better, then have a small area of soil for them to dump on.
