I also used a socked ag pipe as well. A bit of overkill? yes probably but I wanted to ensure that the the drainage gravel is kept as clean as possible. I ran my Geo Fabric along the back edge of my blocks and then ran in my ag pipe on top of the fabric to form an evelope for the gravel. To maximuse the width of the fabric I stood a 900mm x 1200mm peice of particle board about 250mm behind the wall in an upright position. The Geo sat perfectly up the particle board and then it was just a process of Gravel in front and fill behind the board. When I had filled a section I would pull the board out and move it along a length and start the process again. I didn't get a perfectly straight line of gavel vs fill but it was good enough for me. Thank you for your thoughts 0 8070 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16156 |
