I did have this in another thread a while ago. Here is my back yard, just after we finished establishing it. As you can see the shed takes up one side of it and the clotheslines are in front of the shed, out of view in this pic. Ignore crap in the foreground, that will be paveing. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1148.jpg And here is the front yard, taken early this year when we first got front fence. I might take an 'after' pic tomorrow to show how much the plants have grown in 6 months http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1107.jpg Re: Show me your garden!! 5Jul 28, 2009 1:00 pm Well, as promised, here is the 'after' pic of front garden, taken this morning - see how much growth in 6 months http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1172.jpg And while I am at it, here are 2 creepers which I planted in our side garden just before Xmas, before and after shots. First is a Jasmine, no flowers yet but will be prolific when it does in Spring. Other one is a Happy Wanderer, purple flowers on it now. jasmine before http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM0907.jpg jasmine after http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1173.jpg Happy wanderer before http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM0906.jpg Happy Wanderer after http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1174.jpg Sorry S+P, I am takeing over your thread Re: Show me your garden!! 6Jul 28, 2009 1:11 pm Helyn Well, as promised, here is the 'after' pic of front garden, taken this morning - see how much growth in 6 months http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/nurselovescoffee/HPIM1172.jpg Wow Helyn that is amazing growth!! Thanks Helyn!! They are a lovely colour! Not many people in my estate use pebbles, mostly tanbark so I like this as an option 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' I'm hoping to get some ideas for my own tiny little courtyard garden Re: Show me your garden!! 17Jul 29, 2009 4:23 pm Helyn That "couple of years on" one does look impressive jimmyd - if only we could fast track our gardens to that stage You can fast track your gardens. Spend the money on the soil and you will I went past a garden I did and I recall the chap nextdoor was asking what I was doing and wanted a quote. I was too expensive. Now the garden i did uses hardly any water and looks 3 years old in less than a year. His uses loads of water, has stunted plants, burnt plants, lots of weeds and costs associated must be huge!
