The seeds highly recommended is Munns, they are usually Tall fescue blend, apparently my neighbour throw theirs in 4 weeks ago and now very good, not sure re summer whether they will die ? If you intend to lay Turf, Conquest couch is ok now but Buffalo they told us to wait till September. Hello Eager, Can I please ask the Brunning seeds you used, you said it died in summer, now regrow, does it regrow by itself or you re sow? Good luck to you all, S & T Re: Stones and Lawn Seed Advice needed 6Jul 09, 2009 10:26 pm Yes in summer they will die off a bit. They are cool season grasses and many in the industry with a conscience towards the water resources would like to see this stuff banned. They have a huge water need. However I would say that if you do chose a seeded lawn, then a Munns one will be the best option For pebbles, it is a good idea to put some "weed mat" down. More for if you have sandy soils, the mat does sweet FA for stopping weeds (don't get me started ) but stops it working into the soil if it sandy. On clay just compact it if you can. Get the pebbles on like any mulch and do it to a depth of 75mm at least. The size you choose will depend on what you like the look of and what you can get at the right price (click the mulch link) http://www.greatgardens.info/video/grea ... videos.php Re: Stones and Lawn Seed Advice needed 7Jul 11, 2009 10:19 pm serenityhome Hello Eager, Can I please ask the Brunning seeds you used, you said it died in summer, now regrow, does it regrow by itself or you re sow?
