Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jun 21, 2009 6:31 pm Hi Guys, I am finally back on the forum and in the middle of doing our backyard. Leaving interior for later on! My quick question is where can we buy cheap pavers and pebbles (in melbourne)? Thinking of doing a path down the side of the house. Surely there are cheaper places than Bunnings! I have heard there is a Boral outlet in Deer Park with cheap pavers, anywhere else? Thanks Re: Where to buy cheap pebbles and pavers??? 2Jun 21, 2009 7:22 pm There's an outlet on Princes Hwy, Hallam. I purchased 500mm x 500mm pavers there for just over $7 each because they were seconds. Our Crazy Owner Builder Journey! Re: Where to buy cheap pebbles and pavers??? 7Jul 03, 2009 2:55 pm Hi Guys, We went to the Boral Outlet in Deer Park and found quite a few nice products. Only problem was the 2nds have little consistency in colour. In one paver, the Promenade Charcoal, there were three different tones in one slab of the pallet! Unfortunately this would stick out like a sore thumb when laid en masse for a good range of pebbles and I think they are decent price we looked at Soil Worx in Deer Park. they supply Bunnings and they were about $20-30 cheaper (I think?????) so we have decided we want to do all paving instead of decking, so now we are looking for the perfect paver and getting quite fussy! We went to Paver World in Campbelfield and the guy suggested we look at the Abode by Boral for a nicer colour tone and consistency. Then went to Better Bricks and Paving and that guy told us to look at the Classicstone range as they don't split like the Abode when cutting them and he'd do them for 57m2 and apparently "you won't get better than that anywhere". Clearly I don't know what on earth I'm doing anymore and I still want a bargain!!!!!!! So I'm still looking Re: Where to buy cheap pebbles and pavers??? 8Aug 29, 2012 6:56 am the best place is a supplier called stone101 in moorabbin. they are helpful and friendly and they are source you are looking for. 1.
