Hi guys
I'm looking to put a wall up to raise the garden beds above grass level. Are there any alternatives out there to using limestine blocks that are cheaper but still have the same look?

Re: Limestone wall alternative 2May 06, 2007 9:14 pm Haven"t been on the forum so sorry if this comes a bit late. I,like you, have been looking at the alternatives to limestone.
The only ones I've looked at seriously are timber sleepers and rendered brick. Both would look great but you'd need to think about termites with the timber obviously. Re: Limestone wall alternative 3May 07, 2007 9:54 pm There are literally dozens of reconstituted limestone products on the market. They are similar in appearance and tend to be more uniform in size/shape/composition, whereas natural hewn limestone blocks may have some roots or flaws in some blocks.
Ash. Might cheaper to changer your idea of what makes a home, have you considered building a porch? 2 51807 Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that.
