Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 06, 2009 3:58 pm Helloooo everyone. Im looking at making some planter boxes out of brick and then render and paint over the top. Each about 900mm x 900mm and about 600mm high. Would they be ok to plant palm trees in?? Would their roots break through the box?. Looking at planting the foxtail palm!! ( cos i think they are pretty ) is there a better plant. Ideally I am wanting palm trees!! Also would bessa brick be better to make the boxes, or any suggestions at all would be great!!
