I picked up a sample from the supplier which clearly had Willow marked on it, then when the pavers came the delivery docket from Classicstone also had Willow on it, and the sample matched the pavers perfectly. I can't see the pics in your link thanks to my slow connection did you expect them to look darker? I think the sample looked darker when I first saw them but I am delighted they turned out a little bit lighter. The garage door is actually Paperbark, so they are quite a bit darker than that and I think they make the Paperbark look more creamy next to them. Thanks Fu! Re: Which colour paver should I choose? 42Jun 29, 2009 9:37 pm Donuts... willow wasn't even one of the choices in your poll! I thought you used driftwood? EDIT:..... but then you changed pavers and use Willow! Just read back through the thread. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Which colour paver should I choose? 43Jun 29, 2009 9:39 pm donuts thanks Space Designs. I am happy we chose the Driftwood. EXCEPT! We have changed pavers now after all that! Now we are going with Classicstone, but I have picked a colour very close to the Driftwood (it's called Willow) so am very happy with that too. It's very close to Driftwood! We just changed the brand at the last minute!! lol "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. Were they expensive and are they laid on sand? The problem that we have is that our alfresco was concreted with the slab (it was a requirement for H class slab). We want to extend the area and thought about paving over the top so it all looks like one area rather than seeing a join. We might have to concrete the whole area and then cement the pavers on top. Re: Which colour paver should I choose? 45Jun 29, 2009 9:46 pm Hels, we got them for $57 per sqm. Yes, they are laid on crushed rock & then sand. Yeah I would have thought you would have to get your extra area concreted as well, as the part on the crushed rock/sand might move more and be noticably different from the concreted part? But concrete is apparently a more desirable base for them. I'm no expert though! Maybe Plannedlscape or davinci can advise better..
