I'll have a look next time I'm up. thanks Fu Re: WA Garden week 22Jul 25, 2009 8:03 pm I just went to the Complete Garden today in Osborne Park and it is absolutely FULL of stuff! LOTS of that wall art. There's lots of pretty, cottagey stuff (not really my style), plus really modern stuff (not really my style either!). I love some of the wire and rustic stuff, and there's loads of that too! They have a really comprehensive website http://www.thecompletegarden.com.au/ but it looks like there's more I had to wander round about 3 times cause the shop is so jampacked full of stuff that you miss things the first time round. This thread came up on a forum search, and I'm bummed that I missed Garden Week this year It was on before I started thinking about gardening for my new place. My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! Re: WA Garden week 23Jul 29, 2009 12:18 am Next years will still be good So many really good people there ... except the chamois guy. I hope he isn't there next year Re: WA Garden week 26Jul 29, 2009 12:27 am onc_artisan  I thought it was shAmw0w hahahahahhaha, is it bad that I like the look of those things, even though I know it's just an absorbent cloth?? Was just talking to a friend about the rubber broom she bought from one of those guys at the Home Show earlier this year. She thinks its pretty good! My tac-home-ter: Been in 8 months! I've seen it all over the place, home shows, patio displays, magazines... n everywhere it's advertising something else so it doesn't say where it's from... and I'm in love with it Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: WA Garden week 31Jul 31, 2009 6:40 pm That was used in the display for Zanthorea garden centre. Hi there. Actually the lady in the photo is Ceri Wagnell from Botanic Blueprint who was one of a team of three who worked on the Villa Marrakesh design and that would be me It was lovely to meet so many nice people at Garden Week and I'm looking forward to Garden Week 2010 with another design.
Re: WA Garden week 38Sep 29, 2009 11:48 am I think Garden Week is always held the weekend after Easter, or around that time anyway. Next year will see more WALDA students with their designs plus other more established designers will have show gardens. We got such a great reception this year as it was something different for people. As a designer, I would love to see it get bigger and better with the top designers in Perth showcasing their designs.
