Most ppl (including the great master Fu Manchu) reckon it creeps and is hard to maintain. I was VERY tempted by couch, as every couch I felt felt soooo much softer than the buffalos and others... but with Fu and the horticulturalist at my turf supplier both recommending against it, I listened and decided not to go with it! I am not sure if this Conquest Couch is any different though; if it is then pls ignore above paragraph! We ended up going with Palmetto Buffalo (not zoysia sorry Fu ) it gets delivered tomorrow I can't wait! Anyway have a look ont he other turf-related threads for more of Fu's advice if you haven't already "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. It is cheap to get, fast and cheap to grow for them. They get excellent profit margins so it is hardly any wonder we see so much of it recomended. What with all the money to be made on it. search some of my other posts on this very topic Couch is the worlds second most problematic weed. |
