Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: my side yard didnt work help 8Mar 10, 2009 9:13 pm no you dont leave the grass there, you need to put down a path where the dogs are wearing the grass down you can't put anything loose there it just wont work. once there is a path in place to take the brunt of the dogs tracking across, the rest of the grass might recover because dogs generally stick to the path when they want to get from a to b. But you could also get rid of all the grass and plant out shrubs around the path as well.
The problem is though, that if they are kicking up the dirt in their toilet area, they wont stop doing it and may just decide to take it to another area so sometimes the best option is let them have an out of the way spot like this to mess up but a path will really help and it might be enough of a compromise to leave the rest of the grass there for them can someone with more experience give me their insight? land is pretty much flat its pretty much at the top of a hill. left and right neighbours are flat in line with my… 0 7467 2 4387 there should be ss cable so you can pull up bore pump for service 1 3161 |
