Same day that my parents sail out of Sydney for a 42 day cruise. They have never been outside of Australia before and have never been away longer then 16 days. Not quite sure how we are all going to go whilst they are away - or even how they are going to cope being away from all our kids Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Sandstone wall & Paving 23Feb 28, 2009 12:08 pm wall is looking splendid SuH, more honeycomb and white chocolate yum. Lolly Gobble Bliss Bomb anyone? And love the paint job on the house too!
How exciting for your daugter's wedding. we'll need photos you know "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. Currently scaping the land. Re: Sandstone wall & Paving 24Mar 03, 2009 7:47 pm Ok, now you have seen my yard and house...we have a cream fence on the southern side (will be hidden by trees) and western side (we are putting a wall in front to hide) on the northern side it's our choice, this is where the dark grey exposed aggregate path will lead to "Al Fresco" and we will be having boulders and grassy stuff along this fenceline. I am leaning toward Shale Grey. The fence/gate at the front will be silver slatted. What do you guys think Re: Sandstone wall & Paving 25Mar 03, 2009 8:49 pm Love the retaining wall - fanatastic feature. I'm guessing something as nice as that costs abit?

They have done quite a few jobs around town and we knocked on doors and asked about them. The whole job is costing about $50,000 that is not just for the wall, they also paved around the pool, concreted pavers into the garden for a mowing strip, soil, tiling the pool feature, excavating the yard, they even cleaned rubbish out of the pool yesterday, these guys have been great, they aren't that young either, but very fit.
