Cheers

It's like "we've got a spot there that ned somethng - let's whack in a Cordy" I love cordylines! I've been waiting decades for them to be so fashionable. Don't have much room for any now though. My concern is that they and the other strappies like flaxes are too popular, and people are shoving them everywhere for instant effect. I've already noticed places where either the plant will have to come out or the path will have to be moved. Re: Front garden issues 23Jun 22, 2009 10:17 am Fu Manchu I hate cordylines! They are the single most sold plant in retail nurseries in Australia. Nearly every house built has a cordyline! boring. Jeeze I even have a few and I hate them There are some funky cordylines around now.... I love them to introduce colours to my garden. Give them a bit of shade, otherwise they look ratty.... Nurseries just have acres and acres of them. Re: Front garden issues 25Jun 23, 2009 8:48 am They are very common here to. I don't mean Cordyline australis though... They won't grow here, even if I want to. But every now and then, you can find a nice and unusual ones and but very expensive for something that you can grow from cuttings... I know what you mean Fu... I feel the same with Golden Canes and Hibiscus Tiliaceus Rubra here in Darwin. They are so common.... I don't want any in my yard, but my other half vetoed me.
