Yep, finally Fastcalltrees called us back and it was funny Sammy, hubby had commented that a guy from his work knew someone that worked in a tree cutting company and was trying to get his phone number so we could give him a call and see if he could give us a special price. Well hubby finally got hold of him last Wednesday and the worked for Dave at Fastcalltrees! What a coincidence! Hubby told him that i had been waiting for Dave to call back for over a week and he admitted that Dave had been away and it's also not the best in returning calls... Tuesday afternoon Dave got back to hubby with a price and then on Wednesday he called us to say he was in the area and if we were happy with the quote he could get rid of the tree right there and then so we said "ok" so now our tree is gone... Thanks everyone for the help an suggestions, sorry to hijack the thread Judie! did you end up getting your tree removed by the way? Re: Tree removal - Sydney North Shore 26May 30, 2009 6:24 pm Hi Sammy, I think we got a decent price compared to other quotes... it was a very big tree that required the big root grinding machine and he did it all for $750, the closest quote had come to $850 so I guess it was a good price.
