Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Dec 11, 2008 4:44 pm We have just started construction of our new home and will be having decking in our alfreso area. What I really don't want is merbu (so common now & I always go different to what everyone else has), but I do want is a timber that will fade quickly.....want the lovely warn grey look.

There are products which give a grey-washed type look such as Intergrain Naturalstain 'Driftwood' You don't have to worry about merbau its temporarily unavailable. If you are going to leave it to weather I would choose a very durable species such as Ironbark, Coastal Grey Box or Tallowood. Hi, as per the subject.
