Ok it's at the front of the house, pretty steep (i just rounded off the top today).
At this stage we would prefer not to retain it (expense!) but I don't know what to grow on it to stabilise it, I've thought of...
Grass- can't mow
Useful stuff like strawberries or fruit trees etc? Only problem is picking and tending to them!
So maybe a variety like local ferns, native grasses etc?
What would your rcommend for my consideration? I'm likely to have lawn up the top (in front of the house) and probably up to the slope. Something that looks nice (or is edible / useful) would be good but it's primary purpose will be to prevent erosion due to water runoff etc.
Up until now I haven't made much effort in gardening, so I don't have much idea when it comes to different plants! Yes I need to visit some garden centres / bunnings for some inspiration too!
