Looks so much nicer, clean and fresh. Thumbs up for fake grass in this case. Mrs B Re: What would you do with this area? 22Dec 31, 2008 8:13 am How does the dog cope with the fake grass? And is it easy to deal with any doggy "mess"? Also is it ok on the kids when they play (ie - grass burn etc?)
We are considering laying fake grass at our place as well.. Re: What would you do with this area? 23Dec 31, 2008 9:24 am That looks terrific. So much more appealing that what was there and the kiddies get to enjoy it as well. Re: What would you do with this area? 24Dec 31, 2008 6:46 pm Surprisingly it copes very well - we just pick up the dog business as normal - apparently we can just hose off any residue if there was any but we haven't had that issue yet. It is very soft for the kids to play on, we put sand and rubber granules on top of it and then raked them in and it is SO soft and spongy, my mum thinks it feels like carpet. My kids are very rough and no injuries as yet My karma ran over your dogma Re: What would you do with this area? 25Dec 31, 2008 11:49 pm That looks great (and much better than pebbles IMO), such a big improvement from the first photo. Great job, thumbs up for your DH. Re: What would you do with this area? 26Jan 01, 2009 12:38 pm Wow! That looks fantastic Haywgl, looks really fresh and inviting. Great to hear it feels nice to walk on and copes with dogs too hehe. Re: What would you do with this area? 28Jan 03, 2009 3:06 pm I was actually thinking that the difference in the pile made it look more realistic as when I first looked at it I just thought it was the 'mower mark' you get when you start the next side... if anyone has ANY idea what I'm talking about
