It will be a 700mm high wall about 120mm thick and I will run a 12mm rio rod through it. I will be mixing the concrete by hand and will have to do it in 2 pours on separate days so there will be a join in it. If I run the rio rod through the join will I risk the rio rod rusting and end up in time damaging the concrete or should I stop the rio rod 100mm before the join and finish the end of the join not square but with a vertical timber at 45 degrees to create a V to key the cold joint together. Or can someone suggest a better way. Thanks for any input. To err is human but to really mess things up, you need a computer.
