Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right will require a 1 meter high retaining walls so it looks like I need a DA. Which one is more cost effective? If I go for full excavation, it might be: - Too costly since my estimate is around 75 cubic meters of dirt to be removed - More areas with high (> 600mm) retaining walls which will require engineer to certify If I go for semi-excavation, then - I have to build retaining walls within the backyard - Can use some of the excavation dirt to fill the front yard Any feedback is much appreciated.
