What kind of lead-in time do we need to start the process of getting landscapers in to do design/quotes to time the landscaping phase to happen as soon as the builder gives us the green light? Should we be looking and getting quotes now even though we don't know when the home will be ready? Do we wait until lockup? Later? ... or are we already too late and should have started the process earlier? Any advice would be most appreciated as I don't want to end up with a back yard of dirt for months after the house is complete. Some gave me a very rough idea of cost based on what I had said we were after. All said until driveway and any other concreting is done they wouldn't be able to measure up and provide an accurate quote.
