We have a clothesline newly installed around March this year. We live in a reasonably windy area, where we receive almost constant strong westerly winds.
We installed the clothesline as per standard requirements.
We have been hesitant to hang sheets etc on the line in high winds, but recently we hung some towels and then the wind picked up and the concrete base of the clothesline has now shifted in the ground, to the point that the line is now on a slant. It is only a few degrees, but it isn't straight.
Does anyone have any tips for securing a clothesline in windy conditions? Should we go deeper and wider with a concrete base?
