Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 28, 2021 11:16 am We recently had to replace an old, leaning, rotten wall with a smaller retaining wall, unfortunately anytime we get any heavy, or sustained rain water pools along the top. I know there was lots of scoria put behind it, but regardless it seems super slow to drain. As it's winter we haven't gotten around to planting, landscaping the area yet but would a good base of mulch help to reduce this pooling? Is this expected in heavy/sustained rain or is something bigger going on?
