Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Dec 29, 2020 12:21 am Hi All I am about to begin diy building retaining wall to hold some soil in the back yard and then on the front yard as well. I initally planned to use 2.4m H4 treated pine sleepers, went to Bunnings today and I saw 1.8m are also available. Thinking 1.8m will be easy to install than 2.4m because I would be able to lift / shift the sleepers on my own whereas for 2.4m i would need someone to help me. Is there any downside of using 1.8m VS 2.4m or 3.0m for garden beds/feature 400mm and 600mm high ? (forget about the cost its a negligible difference) Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5229 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Are you going to have the frame exposed or are you cladding it with something.
