Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 18, 2020 8:49 pm Hi Guys, Hope everyone is doing well. Can I get your suggestions or opinion on how I am going to do about my front yard as well as the sides? This is how it looks like. Its covered with black mulch. The YELLOW area is where I wanted to put some plants or hedges. During the day, 1 or 2 families walk their dogs and often comes by and stops in front of the house. I am trying to avoid these pets from doing their thing in it. I am not sure what plants I can put along those edges, to deter or prevent them from p**ping in my front yard? Maybe while putting that on thoughts, plants that deter as well as makes from front yard look good as well? Im thinking english box. Maybe Rue (read it and some said it can deter dogs). But im not sure if Rue can improve how my front yard looks. im confused. help please. Looks like you need some privacy for that corner block. Cascade or resilience australe species. Both will establish some decent height and density in 2 years. Advanced specimens could fast forward to 1 year. Anything that overgrows the path and driveway will deter animals from leaving anything behind. Reasonably priced and thrives in our harsh conditions.
