Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 20, 2020 10:51 am Hi all, First time poster - looking for some help from anyone that can. I'm a relatively novice gardener and recently planted some trees in the garden with my green thumb mother in law. I planted an advanced Lemon Myrtle (50cm pot) which seemed to be doing well initially, producing new shoots but in the past couple of weeks the leaves are drooping The tree is planted in a garden bed that gets partial sun, it is under a 6m high ornamental pear so gets primarily dappled shade. Instead of being nice and glossy and smooth to touch, the leaves are drooping and softening. When I planted the tree I filled the hole I dug with Organic Compost and Blood and Bone along with the soil that I dug out. Looking for (and will greatly appreciate) any help around what could be causing the issue and what steps I can take to help bring it back. . The area definitely doesn't have the best drainage. Before I redid the garden with more natives we had other shrubs and trees (e.g. a medium sized acer) in that spot and they did fine. FWIW I have a callistemon kings park special that I planted in the same bed about 3m further along and it's doing well.
