My back boundary neighbor moved in before me and erected the fence with two sleepers. After nearing my build completion, I came to know that the land is too much sloppy(away from my house) that another sleeper would be good to fill and reduce the slope. I can't build a retaining wall near the boundary as there's a 1.5m 150pvc drain easement running along the boundary. Is it possible to add an extra sleeper below the already existing fence? My neighbor was kind enough to say okay to this. But I'm thinking how difficult and expensive would this be? Any other suggestions are welcome. Concrete in contact with the ground will last a lot longer than timber. If your patio is going to be 35 sqm then that's going to need Council Approval.
