It's been very difficult to compare quotes between pool builders, and the landscaping quotes vary by a huge amount. Is there a good source of information available on what unit costs I can expect for these jobs. E.g. Installed costs per metre for various fencing types/ retaining walls, excavation costs, costs per square metre for decking etc It feels like some contractors are trying to gouge me I'm in Brisbane Cheers! It gets very expensive for pool excavation if rock is encountered. If you haven't already make sure that hard rock doesn't exist within the pool excavation depth.
