Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 08, 2020 12:42 am Hi, I have built a cement block retaining wall. 200 series block. 1.5 blocks high by about 14m on a 450 x450 concrete footing which has been reinforced and also have reo 400mm apart for each block. Unfortunately I didn't do my research and used cement Australia mortar mix and didn't read the specification saying not adequate under damp course layer. If I waterproof the back of the retaining wall and render the face then will this be ok? Blocks will also be core filled and will also have an aggie behind it and rocks which will be wrapped in agricultural cloth (not sure if correct term) so should be much moisture up against block work which will also as mentioned above be water proofed.
