Our landscaping plan was prepared by Eco Design Pty Ltd. We paid Sekisui at the time of preparing contract for landscaping plan. ( Cost $1210.00 )
After living at the place for 2 years ( before demo ) , I knew exactly which trees or shrubs I wanted and where to plant out.
So during consultation with the landscape designer, I have strictly instructed them to include the exact plants of my choice. I did not want any miscommunication with the landscape designer so I have given them the list of plants (trees) in both common name and botanical name with a very clear landscape design for Eco Design to follow. To my surprise Eco design have included some extra Australian shrubs and exotic plants to compliment to my design.

There was a large tree which I wanted to remove from the front of the house, which did not fit into approval for removing. During my research for removal of that hideous tree, under the Council Tree Management I came accross the topic of Tree Preservation Order. The list of these trees gave me an insight for selecting of some native Australian plants.
This also indicates Council preferred trees / shrubs on private landscape design plans. After many hours of googling to identify each tree listed by council Tree Preservation Order, I found the trees that I really wanted for my landscape.
