The tight buds (like the one right at the top) look more like proteas though. I have no idea about growing conditions, sorry....hopefully someone else does. Lucky you, getting such gorgeous flowers! Yeah those ones you think are Proteas have all opened now and are brown and have fluffy seeds coming out of them. Thanks for that kek, I can research if they grow up here.
