Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 09, 2020 3:21 pm Hey guys, just wanting to hook up an Ozito water pump to existing water tanks to use with an irrigation system I just installed. I have the water tank adapter kit but the water tanks were already fitted with a tap outlet (see pics) is there any way can fit the flexipipe to the tap? Or will I have to take the tap off? Really trying to avoid the latter as the tank is full! Thanks 😊 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Pump for water tank? 2Aug 09, 2020 4:19 pm Just take the sprinkler adaptor out, check the thread size and buy a poly nipple to suit. The nut and tail then connects to the nipple. BTW, the tank outlet is a drain valve, its not ideal for the pump to be drawing water from the anaerobic zone so close to the sediment layer.
