DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair

Okay so this is my first post, I'm working on a few small projects at the moment, me and my family just moved into a new rental, and I'm currently in the process of getting permission to renovate a few small areas, all based in the backyard, the house is fine and i wont be doing any work in there, and the work that I am doing is just going to be the basic necessities really, and I'm going to be trying to minimise cost where I can, hence why it will be mostly DIY, im not highly experienced but ive done a bit of everything before so i get the jist of most things and i learn really quickly, so im just hoping to get any advice i can get on starting these projects. I'll list my projects separately here (note: ill be adding photos later and if it's a better idea i will do separate topics for each)
So for this im just looking to either trim or completely cut back a bunch of trees that lean right out into the yard, blocking most of the space from access. There are also trees at the rearmost area but they arent too disruptive and give good shade. At the same time I will be doing the lawns, i will try to organise someone with a trailer to take away the debris.
Kids Cubby house:
So at the back of the house there is a small cubby house for kids, it's about 1.3m tall, and about 2m length by 1.5m width, it has proper guttered, tiled roofing and a window, plus the entire back wall is a chalkboard, and it even has a small balcony style patio. So it has a couple of problems, slight gaps in the wood pieces, generally consistent at about 1-2mm, no large holes. Bugs and spiders have found thier way in due to this. It has carpet but the carpet is disgusting and some is peeled back, and the front door is rotting at the bottom, as well as the hinges having completely let go of the wall. So I want to replace the door, remove the carpet completely, water blast the whole thing to clean it before sealing the gaps, and painting the interior (apart from the chalkboard) then putting new carpet down. If possible I was also wondering if there are any ways i can put a seal on the door so that bugs cant get in that way.
Okay so the garage is a really tricky one for me, And will probably be a bigger project than the rest. one of the timber supports in the garage appears to have an ants nest in it and has completely rotted from the inside, and the walls appear to be either fiberboard or fiberlite, which I've been advised against waterblasting, seems strong enough but this is probably where my inexperience will be showing. I've also been told that it will be difficult or even impossible to paint but I'm not sure of that either, so my goals with this are:
-Clean it out (preferably waterblast to get it REALLY clean but I also know there's a good chance i can't do that)
-Patch some small holes in the walls (There's a tennis ball sized hole in one spot and a bunch of small cracks)
-Replace the door as it sticks and doesn't lock properly (weird i know)
-Repaint the entire interior, aside from the corrugated iron roof
Mini Studio (last one I swear)
This one is a bit less of a repair project, and more of a construction project, I've seen a basic build for about $100 and that's what I'm going for, it's a simple one, a 1mx1m width/length and 2m height, made of cheap wood, padded with acoustic foam, with a small shelf to attach the microphone, it's to improve my rap vocals, as thats something im aspiring to do.
Okay so I think that about covers it for now sorry for the long post, and like I said, I'll be uploading pictures as soon as i get a chance, and possibly splitting these into separate topics. i know i may be wrong about quite a few things and I'm ready for that, just if any advice can be given it would definitely be appreciated.

In my house, I do everything with my own hands. I do not trust anyone. My fence is made of brick, and I decided to decorate it a bit. I decided to make an engraving. This helped me https://polarengraving.com/brick-fundraiser-campaigns/

Normally all hardscaping (decking, paths, raised garden beds etc) is done first then landscaping last. Just make sure any prelays are in place for electrical or water.
