Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Apr 05, 2020 5:37 pm Hi all I'm looking for some ideas. As you can see in the pics, we have a concrete pool where one wall is retaining and then a metre from that wall is our property boundary where the fence is. So there is a gap between the wall and the fence that I need to do something with. Almost to the property line is gravel to the wall, so planting stuff isn't really an option, besides I would like to prevent leaves falling into the pool. Any ideas? Cost has to be considered because I'm an uber driver who currently isn't working due to the virus. I have plenty of time, but not much money. If you need additional info before you offer a suggest, please let me know what it is! Thanks in advance! Re: Landscape opinion wanted around pool 3Apr 12, 2020 6:46 pm Mmm, I cant see you would have any other option but to get rid of some of that gravel, put soil in there and grow some suitable plants. I had a similar space next to my pool and tried different plants over the years that didn't make a mess. If i was you I would plant some type of strappy grass similar to lemon grass which grows to a height that would hide that fence. It doesn't really drop leaves and you wont have to trim it, and you can of course eat it! Col Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 3665 Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6138 these look like missing batts. Go up and take a look. But yeah moisure meter is a completely different tool 4 9454 |
