I could turn the key and the latch would move but would not withdraw fully. Ive taken the lock apart but still cant get it to unlock. Any ideas? That should open the door. If it's hard to do that it's possible the door has developed a bit of a bow and you may need to push the door to relieve the pressure on the latch. What sort of lock is it. It looks like a Gainsborough Trilock or similar?
