Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Dec 22, 2019 7:10 am Hi i am building house in melbourne western suburbs. I have checked the plan of subdivision where my lot has FS 116.57 and FS 116.19 in the direction of arrow. My slab has already been poured and house is in completion stage and in the structural drawings it shows cut/fill level 100.1 and then the subsequent FFL is 100.575. Recently i find out that my next door neighbour has a slab been poured which is about 2 feet higher than my house. However both the lots were on same ground level in appearance before slabs are poured. In the same plan of sub division the neighbours has FS 116.65 and FS 116.41 in the direction of arrow. I am now concerned if this situation requires the retaining wall between the two properties? And if do then who is bearing its cost?? In pics my lots is 1002 and neighbours 1003 and the structure house is mine.
