Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 27, 2019 7:55 am Hi all First time post here. I just bought my first property and it has a water tank there. It has a water leak. My dad and myself managed to drain the remaining water in the tank and put it on its side and found at least 2 leaks. However we probably damaged it further trying to move it around. Does this look like its beyond repair? I believe its as old as the house, around 11 years old and around 7,000 litre capacity. The base was a rough pebble concrete, so my dad will help me grind it down to smooth it out either way. There are plastic repair persons who mostly operate as mobile businesses, have you tried to find one in your local area? Very few glues adhere to polyethylene but Scotch Weld DP 8010 and Scotch Weld DP 8010 NS (same epoxy but with fillers) made by 3M do. You can also melt some poly then shape it and glue when cool. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage. Cleaner Neater Smarter Cheaper Supa Gutter Pumper.
