Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Aug 12, 2019 5:46 pm Hi. There was mould all over the bathroom ceiling and wall and I took it upon myself myself to remove all the paint and repaint the whole wall and ceiling. I have removed all the paint; however, the plaster that was behind the paint seems like course cement. It is brown and not at all smooth. As I rub my finger against the wall sand particles fall down. Should I go ahead and start the painting process or should I replaster the whole wall? Please help with advice. Thanks in advance.
