It's probably a standard thermocouple (pt1000 or similar) that you could wire back to the controller. If someone can identify it there is no need for an OEM part. Thank you. I will give it a try. We had a real good run with our Rheem solar installation. Replaced the ground based tank once and a couple of pressure-release valves on the roof collectors. Only replaced it when gas came to our area and we went with an instant gas system.
