Hi everyone,
My tenant reported an issue with the house where tap water is yellow every morning (after couple of hours of inactivity). Running the tap for couple of seconds will make it go clear again.
I dont know what type of piping is used, but its a 60's house.
The tenant says they drink directly from the tap, can anyone please tell me if this is going to cause health issues? If it is, how do i go about fixing it? I really don't want to spend $thousands to replace the piping in the house.
I also heard that the yellow colour is caused by rust in the pipes. Drinking the water after it runs clear will be fine. Is this true?
Thanks!
