Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Jan 15, 2019 9:54 pm Hi all, as you can see in the photos I have a nail (or maybe some other type of fixing) slowly working it's way out of my living room ceiling. You can see the same thing is beginning to happen on the next joist along. I'm not too sure where to start with repairing this. Should I just look to replace the nails with something more effective? Or is this a symptom of a bigger issue that I should be concerned about? Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
