Hi all, as you can see in the photos I have a nail (or maybe some other type of fixing) slowly working it's way out of my living room ceiling. You can see the same thing is beginning to happen on the next joist along.
I'm not too sure where to start with repairing this. Should I just look to replace the nails with something more effective? Or is this a symptom of a bigger issue that I should be concerned about?

I definitely agree with you there. 1300 high windows from the floor is too high. It would make the house feel very claustrophobic because you wouldn't get the open feeling…
