We have a lingering problem with our double-bowl kitchen sink, not sure if there is a suitable fix, but I thought I'd put out the call. In the mornings we fill the right-hand smaller bowl with water and soap, dirty dishes throughout the day are placed in that water to soak before washing up at night. However, when we do this and run the tap in the left-hand bowl water takes quite a while to drain, to the point where when running the tap, water will pool for a couple of centimetres before draining.
This is not a huge problem, rather an annoyance that I would like to fix. I've attached a couple of photos of the under sink plumbing and am happy to provide greater detail.

The way mine was designed, agi pipe terminated to a silt pit, from the pit it is then directed to storm drain. It could be your builder haven’t put in the silt pit yet.
