Hi all, hope someone can help, just wondering if I should be concerned about my neighbours shed thats right up next to my fense. Pretty sure its asbestos, but I'm not sure if this broken board considered exposed and harmful. If it's harmful, is there anything I can do? Any help is appreciated.

Only way to be sure is to have it tested. Find a small piece that is broken off and take it to a testing lab. It should cost you less than $50. Be sure to take precautions handling until you know for certain.

What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength. I has no Asbestos in it. Houses before 1985…
