My walls are all under white set coat and I would like to start some painting. Before painting I would need to fill some imperfections and dig out some white set coat cracks. I have scraped out cracks and filled them with filler. After filler has tried I did some sanding and noticed that white set coat gets sanded off much quicker than filler. So here's my questions: 1) Should I prime white set coat before any filler? 2) what kind of filler should I use Much appreciated if you can help me! Then undercoat, fill, sand, touch up undercoat and two coats of wall paint. Don't sand white set. Once the hard trowelled surface has gone the remainder is softer and more liable to cause paint issues.
